2022 Ballot Results
I am pleased to announce that the votes are in, and the ballots have been counted. And recounted. We had 100% participation, and all of the items passed. Excellent work 👏🏻
Item #1 - ANNUAL DUES INCREASE
PASSED - Unanimous
Result: Dues will increase by $10 for 2022 bringing the total buy-in to $155. The $100 increase to the pot will be allocated toward the weekly bonus payouts (up from $20 to $25 per week) and the Squid Game Pool (up from $75 to $100).
Item #2 - WEEKLY BONUS - THE FLEX
PASSED - 9 to 1
Result: The "Playmaker" Bonus from week 7 will be replaced with "The Flex". The Flex bonus will be awarded to the individual with the most points from any WR/RB/TE that is in your flex position for the week.
Item #3 - TURNOVER ON DOWNS
PASSED - 8 to 2
Result: Team defenses will be awarded 1 point for a stop on 4th down.
Item #4 - FIELDGOAL YARDS PER POINT
PASSED - 6 to 4
Result: Successful field goal attempts will now be worth 1 point per 10 yards. For example, a 19-yard field goal would result in 1.9 points and a 58-yard field goal would result in 5.8 points.
Item #5 - MISSED FIELD GOALS
Change missed kicks from 0-19 yars from -4 to -3
PASSED - 7 to 3
Result - A missed kick from 0-19 yards will be worth -3
Change missed PAT from “no penalty” to -1
PASSED - 6 to 4
Result - A missed PAT will be worth -1
Item #6 - THE WEASEL AMENDMENT
PASSED - 9 to one weasel
Result - Starting in the 2022 - 2023 season, the recipient of "The Plate" must abide by the Weasel Amendment. Which states that the license place frame must be placed on the rear of your vehicle.
