After a week of staying up until 2 am, blasting my eyeballs with screen time, and ignoring my wife and kids, the 440 & Friends website overhaul is complete! Maybe I just needed a distraction from all the serious shit going on in the world or maybe I’m just crazy. Whatever. Either way, I drew all your faces again. Updates include: New player profiles with expanded stats, the hall of records, and championship banners. I know. The championship banner page looks like a shrine to me... I get it. But come on guys, try winning more. You think I like making and hanging all of those pretend banners with my name on it? Well I don't! It’s embarrassing 😉. Anyway, have a look around, enjoy and don't forget to remind me how great the league is. I do like compliments.

Moving on. The draft is a month away which means we need a get the draft order finalized. As was mentioned on the zoom call a few weeks ago, we will be doing a virtual marble run. It's going to be hosted by our lovely friend Jeremy Hamed in a live stream on Twitch. Which means that everyone will have to sign up and create a profile on twitch.tv before we run the races. No sign up = no entry = you get Robbie Gould as your first pick. Here's how it will work: There will be 10 races in total. The player that comes in last place in the first race will be eliminated from the races and will pick 10th, then we run another race, whoever loses picks 9th.. etc. The races will commence next Wednesday 8/12 at 9:30pm. Zoom link below so we can all smack talk each other's marbles in person. Please let me know if this date and time is bad for anyone. I'd like for all of us to make it. See you next week!
